Refund and Cancellation Policy

## Scope This policy applies to professional engagements for vendor contract financial audits and related reviews described on this site. It does not cover physical product sales, software subscriptions, or marketplace goods — we do not offer those. ## Eligibility for refunds Refunds apply to fees paid directly to Networking APIs Zone under a signed engagement letter. Website estimate requests carry no charge and need no refund. ## Timeframes - **Before fieldwork begins** (no document sampling started): full refund of fees paid, minus any non-refundable deposit stated in the engagement letter, if you cancel in writing at least five business days before the scheduled start. - **After intake but before sampling**: partial refund of unused fee portions after deducting documented intake hours and the deposit. - **After sampling begins**: fees for completed stages are non-refundable; unused future stages may be credited if we mutually end the engagement early. ## Deposits Engagement letters may require a deposit (often thirty percent) to reserve calendar time. Deposits become non-refundable once document intake starts, unless we cancel for our own reasons. ## Non-refundable items - Completed findings letters and briefings already delivered - Third-party costs you approved in writing (certified translations, courier of paper archives) - Time spent waiting on client archives beyond agreed grace periods when we had reserved staff ## Cancellation by you Email hello@networkingapiszone.digital with the engagement reference. Confirm any supplier meetings already booked on your side. We will reply with the fee calculation under this policy. ## Cancellation by us If we cannot staff or continue an engagement for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work, or a rescheduled timeline at your option. ## Rescheduling Scoping calls may be rescheduled once at no charge with twenty-four hours’ notice. Fieldwork start dates may be moved once if both parties agree at least five business days ahead; further moves may incur a rescheduling fee stated in the letter. ## No-shows If client liaisons miss a confirmed on-site day without notice, that day may be billed as worked. Remote briefing no-shows may be rebooked once; repeated no-shows can be billed as delivered time. ## Work already started Stages marked complete in the engagement schedule (intake, mapping, sampling, draft letter) remain payable. Materials purchased or commissioned for your engagement with prior approval are non-refundable. ## Refund process and timing Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within fourteen business days of written agreement on the amount. Bank or card processing times may add several days. ## Exceptions Force majeure events (severe weather, civil disruption affecting Taichung access) may pause timelines without penalty to either party.
